Allow Accidentals to be Placed Close to Noteheads in Chords with Seconds
IWBNI it were possible to specify that all accidentals should be placed close to noteheads in a chord that contains seconds.
As it is now, accidentals are placed in vertical slots with the rightmost slot being left of the leftmost note of a chord. When a chord contains a second the accidentals are positioned as shown in the following figure:
Some engravers would prefer that accidentals in this case be positioned as shown in the following figure:
In this case, the top accidental of the chord has been manually moved to the right using the accidental mover special tool.
This could be implemented by adding a checkbox called Place Accidentals Close to Noteheads in Chords with Seconds to the Music Options dialog box.
