Allow All Accidentals of a Given Type to be Moved Vertically
IWBNI it were possible to move the position of all accidentals of a given type (e.g. all sharps) vertically. As it is now, this may be done by editing the appropriate font character using a font editor such as Fontographer.
This could be used, for example to adjust for differences in music fonts.
This feature could be implemented by adding the following controls to the Music Character Positioning dialog box:
-----------------------------------------------------------
Music Character Positioning Dialog Box
| Accidental Type | Vertical Offset (EFIX) |
| Natural | -2 |
| Flat | 3 |
| Sharp | 0 |
| Double Flat | 3 |
| Double Sharp | 0 |
| (Natural) | -2 |
| (Flat) | 3 |
| (Sharp) | 0 |
| (Double Flat) | 3 |
| (Double Sharp) | 0 |
-----------------------------------------------------------
These controls would be similar to the existing controls in the Rests section of the Music Character Positioning dialog box.
Note: 1 EFIX equals 1/64th of an EVPU.
