IWBNI it were possible to specify that the length of any tuplet extension should never be smaller than a given size. The dimensions under consideration here are shown in the following figure:

This feature could be used to prevent overly narrow tuplets on notes of short duration.

As it is now, one may expand the width of a given tuplet by modifying the entries Left Extension and Right Extension on the Tuplet Definition dialog box.

This feature could be implemented by adding an edit control called Minimum Tuplet Extension to the Music Options dialog box.
